Prime Minister, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilaniwould inaugurate Southern bypass and Northern bypass projects inthe city on Friday (August 5).The 16-kilometer long Rs 1.57 billion southern bypass project was completed in eighteen month period.
This project would reduce travelling time for inter-city traffic by around 90 minutes because it would not only save public transport vehicles avoid traffic jam problem it used to face while passing through Multan city but would also reduce fuel cost and provide convenient travelling facility to the commuters.
The 16 kilometer Northern bypass project was completed at a cost of Rs 650 million and it would also reduce travelling time for convenience of the passengers.
The Prime Minister would also inaugurate upgraded labour room facility at the Nishtar Hospital besides laying foundation stone of Multan Gymkhana project in the city.
The Prime Minister would hold meetings with different delegations before his departure from Multan.
