DC Hyderabad distributes 33,763 economy flour bags to stalls to help poor

HYDERABAD: Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Asif Ali has informed that around 33763 'Sasta Atta' bags, each of 10 Kg were distributed through 132 stalls located at different points in Hyderabad District on August 3, adding that the numbers of stalls is being increased to facilitate the poor people.

Giving details on Thursday, he informed that 9468 bags were distributed at 29 stalls of Taluka Hyderabad City, 8800 bags at 30 stalls of Taluka Latifabad, 2590 bags at 15 stalls of Taluka Qasimabad, 5000 bags at 13 stalls of Taluka Hyderabad (Rural), 4000 bags at 15 stalls of Taluka Tando Allahyar, 150 bags at 4 stalls of Taluka Jhando Mari, 800 bags at 4 stalls of Taluka Chamber, 1430 bags at 4 stalls of Taluka Tando Mohammad Khan, 1000 bags at 3 stalls of Taluka Tando Ghulam Haider, 275 bags at 4 stalls of Taluka Matiari, 200 bags at 7 stalls of Taluka Hala, while 50 bags of subsidized "Atta" were distributed at 4 stalls of Taluka Saeedabad.

He said that sufficient supply of additional quantity of subsidized flour bags has been made available at these stalls to maintain the chain of supply till end of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak
