Naomi Campbell designs Fiorucci’s denim collection

Fiorucci has recently undersigned a license agreement with Ittierre S.p.A. that will produce and distribute the women’s collection starting from the Spring-Summer 2012 season.

This is a new direction for the brand, sanctioned by an important collaboration with Naomi Campbell.

The international supermodel has designed a capsule collection of 15 denim products, which are cut to enhance and flatter women’s figures: pants with sexy push-up effect, presented in four different fittings and characterized by special finishing.

Naomi's creativity and her brilliant personality give life to this line, developed in collaboration with a brand that pioneers denim in Italy. Naomi has been actively involved in designing and creating the collection, utilising the great knowledge and passion that she has for fashion and especially jeans.

"It's a great opportunity to revitalize the history of our brand, enhancing the cult product that has made it famous internationally”, commented Edouard Obringer,Managing Director of Fiorucci.

“I was really impressed by Naomi’s professionalism during the development of this collection and all the love she has put into this project”.

Naomi said: “Fiorucci is an iconic brand that I have always admired and wore since I was a child. The brand really embraces the classic style that Italians are renowned for, but also brings an element of sexiness and fun that makes every woman feel good about herself. I am very excited to be collaborating with them on their revival and can't wait to wear the new jeans collection we've created”.

The collection "Naomi Campbell for Fiorucci" will be launched alongside t-shirts printed with the covers of various i-D Magazines that Naomi has been photographed for by a host of acclaimed photographers. A perfect collaboration between Naomi, Fiorucci and the prestigious British magazine, which in 1982 chose the Fiorucci store in Milan for its Italian launch.
