AJK poll rigging planned at Presidency: Ibrahim

Chief of Jammu Kashmir People’s Party Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Friday rejected the results of recently held Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Legilative Assembly elections, alleging that rigging of the polls was planned at Presidency, Geo News reported.

At a press conference here, Sardar Khalid Ibrahim announced that on July 4 his party would organize a protest rally against the ‘direct role of the Federal Government in the rigging of the AJK elections’.

He said his party would also chalk out its future course in consultation with its electoral ally Pakistan Muslim League-N

MQM upset on deferring elections: Sindh CM

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Qaim Ali Shah has said that the deferred Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections would be held soon and added we are in contact with our offended allies.

Addressing on the eve of gifting ambulance on behalf of
Peoples Primary Healthcare, Sindh CM, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said, “We are trying through dialogues to win over the MQM and with this aim MQM’s grievances would be addressed.

He said he was in contact with Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishratul Ebad and through him holding communications with MQM. “We are all one and everyone should remain satisfied as regards this,” he said.

He said that DCO didn’t come on our invitation, but he came when the PPHI invited him. He further said that former DG FIA was ordered to be removed from the post by the Supreme Court and not from this world. He also said that the Supreme Court hasn’t forbidden posting Wasim Ahmad at any other place/post.
