New Israeli strike targets Gaza Strip

The Israeli military has targeted the Gaza Strip in a new round of aggression as fresh explosions were heard north of the besieged enclave.

The blasts were heard east of Gaza City on Thursday, a Press TV correspondent reported.

Israeli F-16 jets had earlier struck three targets in the east and west of the city, targeting training camps belonging to the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas.

Also on Thursday, Israeli military aircrafts destroyed two tunnels running under the coastal sliver's border with Egypt.
